Product description
The interaction of deep groundwaters with the surrounding rock gives mineral waters their valuable mineralization. However, this may also include unwanted elements and compoundssuch as Arsenic. The latter must be selectively removed for the production of mineral and table water.
GEH 103 is a high-purity iron hydroxide designed for the reliable and safe removal of arsenic from original waters. The consistent high quality of the material is guaranteed by a certified quality management according to ISO 9001:2008 during production. Before delivery to our customers, an aptitude test for use in mineral and table water production is carried out by an independent laboratory.
In addition to DIN EN 150296, it also meets the requirements of NSF / ANSI 61.
Application Areas
GEH 103 is used for arsenic removal in mineral and bottled water production. It also meets the individual, customer-specific requirements, which can be well below the legally required limit of 10 μg/l. The valuable main composition of the water is not changed by the treatment. GEH 103 is mainly used in stainless steel tanks that are operated as a conventional pressure filter.
